RUDSAK has been celebrating Canadian heritage and iconic design since 1994, crafting outerwear and accessories that combine warmth, functionality, and a bold, modern edge.

THE FOUNDER

Evik Asatoorian, an entrepreneur with a discerning eye for aesthetics, embarked on his journey in the world of fashion as a teenager. Driven by passion, he founded a family enterprise specializing in fine leather garments.

In 1994, inspired by the ambition to craft his own label, he launched RUDSAK — the iconic Canadian house for which he continues to oversee artistic direction today. His unwavering dedication to designing timeless, audacious silhouettes has propelled RUDSAK onto the international stage.

Understated hardware, precision seams, and integrated technical features deliver an elevated aesthetic that feels both polished and provocatively fresh.

BRAND EXPERIENCE

RUDSAK is streamlining its in-store retail strategy by closing five stores in F2026 & F2027, and reinvesting in strategic pop-ups (estimated two per year) as well as 
in the highest-performing regions identified through e-commerce data. This approach maintains sales performance while reducing long-term lease commitments, creating a more agile, efficient, and profitability-focused retail model.

SUSTAINABILITY


We believe that a circular economy is a must, hence why we are continually working on tactics to allow our products to maintain their value longer. Our social programs aim at significantly reducing waste and emissions while contributing to local charities that our customers care about.

 

We at RUDSAK are focused on being transparent about our engagement, hence why a sustainability committee has been formed whose mandate it is to identify clear milestones, allowing RUDSAK to enhance our sustainability policies and actions annually, forging a clear path towards meeting our goals.

 

We believe sustainability is not a choice, it’s a necessity, and we are committed to continuing to evolve through ongoing efforts to become more sustainable.
